The Basics

What dates are available in “X” month I'm considering?

How many people can this location accommodate?

We can accommodate up to 200+ people, depending on how you want to set up your wedding, in which we can discuss and show you options in person during a tour.

What is the rental fee and what's included in that price?

After Inquiry we will provide you with our pricing and packages, the rental fee covers the Venue and “X” number of cabins you wish to book for “X” amount of days, which is outlined in our package sheet.

How many hours does the rental fee include, and is there an overtime fee if I stay longer?

Our packages primarily are “x” amount of days and on your last day you will have a checkout time which is typically 11:00am

Can I book additional nights on top of my package?

Yes, please contact us on which cabins and dates you’d like to extend to and we will be happy to assist you.

How much is the deposit, when is it due, and is it refundable?

$500 non-refundable deposit and we offer payment plans that you can make up until 10 days before your wedding.

Can I have my ceremony here, too? Is there an additional cost?

Yes, you are renting the venue and are in total control of how you want to celebrate your big day!

Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?

Yes, Bridal and Groom parties will have their own cabins to get ready.

Can we have our rehearsal dinner here? What about a morning-after mimosa brunch?

Yes, you are able to plan all your mini-events throughout your rental time. Lots of our brides plan brunches and our groomsmen even plan hunting excursions!

What's the cancellation policy?

You must give a 60-day notice to cancel the event for full refund ($500 deposit is non-refundable)

What's your weather contingency (backup) plan for outdoor spaces?

Our venue is outdoors, however we do have lots of open space. We recommend renting tents if you believe weather will be an issue.

Do you have liability insurance?

You are responsible for getting insurance, we can recommend getting it through your homeowner, car insurance, google search, etc.

Food + Drinks

Do you have an in-house caterer or a list of "preferred" caterers, or do I need to provide my own? Even if there is an in-house caterer, do I have the option of using an outside caterer instead?

We do not provide catering but are happy to provide amazing references whom we have worked with in the past! This includes Food and Open Bar!

If I hire my own caterer, is there a kitchen available for them?

Yes, we have a fully functional outdoor kitchen for caterers to use!

Décor + Rentals

Are we allowed to bring in our own decorations?

Yes, we encourage you to make it your own. You are not allowed to do any drilling or place any type of screws into walls or parts of the foundation. If found after event, this may result in additional fees to fix.

Do you have an inventory of décor (lighting, candle holders, vases, etc.) we can borrow from?

No, we do not provide any décor.

Can I move things around or do I have to leave everything as is?

Yes, you have the ability to move around the provided tables/chairs to customize it to your own.

Can we use candles/confetti/sparklers/fireworks/animals/lawn games/bounce houses/food trucks/insert your own fun-but- potentially-dangerous liability here?

Yes, you may have these but check with your event insurance to make sure it is covered and remember you are responsible for cleanup after the event.

Do you have signage or other aids to direct guests to my event?

We will place a sign at our front entrance, we recommend putting up signs to direct your guests from the bottom of the mountain to the Grandview Grounds.

Do you provide heaters and/or umbrellas for the outdoor spaces?

Yes, we have propane transferable heaters that are scattered throughout the venue.

Are tables, linens, chairs, plates, silverware, and glassware provided, or will I have to rent them myself or get them through my caterer?

We provide chairs and tables for up to 60 guests, larger parties you will need to rent them. We do not provide plates, silverware, table linens, etc.

Vendors + Staffing

Can I hire my own vendors or is there a preferred vendor list we need to stick to?

Yes, you may hire your own staff for your event. We are happy to recommend amazing vendors whom we have worked with in the past.

Do you offer on-site coordination? What services are included?

We are happy to answer all of your questions, provide our recommendations/ideas, and steer you in the right direction. But our packages do not offer event coordination or wedding planning.

Can the venue accommodate a DJ or live band?

Yes! Dancing the night away on top of the mountains is a dream and we are happy to recommend some great vendors.

Are you licensed to provide alcohol service?

No, you will either need to hire a caterer or bring your own.

Logistics

Is there a separate space for cocktail hour?

Yes, there is an additional room attached to the venue which can be utilized as a cocktail room, rest area, etc. (Oh, and it has A/C!)

Do you have a sound system and/or microphones for speeches?

No, however the DJ or Live Band typically will provide that.

Are there any noise restrictions?

No! The great thing about our venue is we are 100% privately owned and surrounded by the mountains so you don't have to worry about any neighbors! You can be as loud as you like!

Is there parking on site and if so, is it complimentary? If not, where will my guests park?

Yes, it is self-parking unless you coordinate complimentary parking.

Are cabs/rideshares (like Uber, Lyft, etc.) easily accessible from the venue?

They are not available in our area, you are able to coordinate a shuttle system if you choose to.

If a shuttle service is needed, can you assist with setting it up?

We can provide recommendations.

How many restrooms are there?

The venue has 3 restrooms total, additionally the cabins have restrooms and are within walking distance of the venue.

What overnight accommodations do you provide?

Our cabins are included in our packages, explore our website to see more information about them or click here! We can accommodate up to 30 guests. There are also nearby hotels and AirBnbs that are available from 30 minutes to an hour away.

Is the site handicap accessible?

Yes, however our cabins do have stairs.

Do you have a recycling policy? We'd love for our wedding to give back.

We encourage recycling! If you decide to separate your recyclables please let us know and we will dispose of them properly.
